Hi All,
A few people have spoken to us in the past about getting together a sword study group. An informal get together once every few months where we can gather, share our new acquisitions and hopefully learn from each other. If you would be interested in being a part of such a group, leave us a comment. If there is enough interest, we’ll make a time for the first get together.
Well we’ve moved house, Kam’s slowly piecing back together his workshop, and after a few issues with Telstra (and a really big bill) we finally have internet and phone working again. Our new location is in Sippy Downs, it is a bigger place which allows Kam more space to work and more space for our little family and for myself (Tina) and my business.
We’re still playing a bit of catch up after last years delays, but we will get up to date as soon as we possibly can. We are still trying to contact Michael T, so Michael, if you are reading this, please call us because we have tried contacting all your details and cannot reach you.
We look forward to 2011, its going to be a big one, a busy one, but a great one, we have a lot of changes and new things coming… so keep an eye out!

Kam’s been working on some new and exciting ways to lacquer. He’s been studying different techniques for a while and is producing some really good work. He has been focusing on more artistic lacquer, so there will be some great samples at the Shinsa for all to see. Keep and eye on this blog, we’ll be posting some sneak peeks of Kam’s work in the lead up.
Again…. as you can imagine, we are very sick of moving now, but necessity has called for it, and although we hate the drama and inconvenience of moving, we are looking forward to it. So from the 19th of February we will be located at Sippy Downs (Sunshine Coast). At this stage all of our contact details will remain the same, and if Telstra makes us change our number, we will set up a redirection. This move will mean more workspace for Kam and for our family… hoping meaning things will be a little more streamlined and faster.
